It is once again the season for Nouvelle: Fresh, bright, and joyful wines to disrupt your regular Winter drinking schedule. 

This year, Nouvelle will exist as a series of parties across New Zealand (stay tuned for more info on locations and dates outside of Wellington!). First up will be the launch party held right here in Wellington.

Across the nights of July 29-30, nouveaux wines from 15 makers across New Zealand will be flowing at the Garage Project Wild Workshop. The two nights will feature a one-off wine list comprised of wines bottled specifically for Nouvelle: 100% New Zealand wine, 100% fresh. While some wine styles command contemplation , these brand new bottling are all about taking pleasure in the moment. 

This is a full celebration of New Zealand wine: the land from which the grapes grow, and the people who nurture them through fermentation. And, as befitting any celebration, there will be plenty of food (think melted NZ cheese, yum), music, and good times.

The Friday, July 29, doors will roll up on Furness Lane at 4pm, and will shutter at about 10pm. On the 30th, we, fresh wines will commence pouring at 2pm and we will wrap up at about 10pm. There is no fee to enter - just pay as you go!
