A pop-up pét-nat bar for the 2020 Autumn equinox, celebrating the most convivial of sparkling wine styles.

With the arrival of Summer, so too does the onslaught of refreshing beverages. Of these libations, one of the styles gaining most attention are pétillant naturels. While production of pét-nat is relatively restrictive, diversity of the finished wine is expansive.
We have been steadily collecting an assortment of NZ new releases, and pét-nats from further abroad to pour on the eve of the Autumn equinox, March 20, 2020. The format is that of our previous Soif bars - a changing glass pour list of wines specifically sourced (even by suitcase) for the night. All will be available by the glass and half glass. Many of these bottles will be one-offs, so expect a rolling menu throughout the afternoon. As always, Caitlin Perlman and Stephen Wong will be there to guide you through the available choices and share a story or two about the unique wines on the list. There is no cover charge, just bring your thirst and an open mind. See you there!
